ABOUT THE YCTAVA
The YCTAVA (York County Taxpayers Association of Virginia) is a public organization comprised of concerned taxpaying citizens of York County dedicated to the following tenets:

Fiscal Accountability of the tax dollars we send to our leaders to maintain our quality of life.

Transparency in the conduct of the everyday business of our paid York County Staff and elected leaders.

Electing Leaders who hold themselves accountable at all times, not just during elections for all the decisions they make.

Improving the Quality of Life for our residents through less taxation, less traffic congestion, and less influence of Special Interests
Why Are We Here - Because for too long, York County citizens have not held our leaders accountable for the decisions they make. This has resulted in ballooning taxes on every citizen, deep traffic congestion problems throughout the County, and an overall decrease in the quality of the life in the area we choose to call our homes.
